In 2017, pgb-Polska moved to a 10,000 square meter dedicated site in Zabrze, Poland, and plans to grow steadily. Four years later, after doubling turnover, expanding export markets, and increasing inventory, the company is now about to complete another 3,200 square meters of construction on the site.

The new expansion of Pgb-Polska will enable the company to improve its logistics by shortening the internal logistics process and achieve a fully automated packaging process. Krzysztof Biskup, vice president and general manager of pgb-Polska, explained: “When we first moved to Zabrze, we expected to live here for many years. However, as we began to see sales growth, we and The parent company, pgb-Europe NV in Belgium, decided together that it was necessary to increase our production capacity, increase our inventory levels, and finally automate our packaging process to improve our efficiency."

Further investment in its production facilities will increase the company's production capacity by 30% and expand its product range. pgb-Polska focuses on the development and production of high-quality and ETA-certified nylon anchors, from multifunctional nylon plugs (such as XUP), frame fixing devices (RPT) to insulating fixing devices (IPH). In addition to plastic fixings, the full range of SMART® anchors also includes mechanical anchors and chemical anchors. Recently, pgb has also added its own design option 7 wedge anchor S-TB7 to its product line.

"Pgb has won a place in the market with a premium brand. We spend time working with customers to identify the changing habits of the construction market to identify new applications, and to improve and develop these products to provide better and more powerful solutions. "Pgb-Europe board member Johannes Heye commented.

This year also witnessed the conversion of pgb-Polska's software system to the new SAP ERP and Dynaman WMS, consistent with pgb-Europe. "In terms of digitalization, pgb-Europe has always been'one step ahead'-this is what we are eager to implement in pgb-Polska. As early as 1997, when pgb-Europe first moved to its Belgian headquarters, it immediately implemented paperless Chemical warehouses-at the time most companies were just beginning to think about digitalization," Johannes commented. “Pgb-Europe first used the combined SAP and Dynaman platforms in Belgium, and then implemented them in Poland to provide consistency in our company. Digitalization has never been so important in the fastener industry, and I firmly believe that if it weren’t for our two Our view of the past 18 months will be very different on the digital commitment within the company."

Johannes continued: "It is important to stay'one step ahead' and realize that it is not just the price or quality of the product. Our customers expect more. We must ensure that additional services are provided, such as EDI solutions, batch traceability , Tracking delivery and technical assistance. We are committed to creating digital synergies for our customers through the most advanced technology-not just providing high-quality fixtures."

Krzysztof added: "This investment is a response to the market situation we are currently facing." "Containers, freight, supply chains, and raw material supply are all facing challenges, but this is not a reason to stop investing—if any, This is an incentive to adapt and place facilities to ensure the supply of our products for our customers."

Due to the close cooperation between pgb-Polska and pgb-Europe, supply can also be guaranteed. "If at any time we have a shortage of inventory in Poland, we can check the inventory in the Belgian warehouse. We can respond quickly and efficiently, which is a huge benefit for our customers. Whether the product is from us The warehouse in Poland is still shipped from the headquarters in Belgium. All products maintain the same quality level. Due to the large inventory, we can ship them in a short time. We are two strong companies with a very strong team—— Make pgb a reliable and trustworthy partner in the fixed industry."
